I got this game by mistake.. and sorrry if you like it but I hate it! I mean you can't evenb start to imagine how mad I got when i played it...

A cousin of mine went on a trip and when he came back he said I brought you this it was taht game.... I was really happy I mean I saw two words: Final Fantasy and that was it. so I go home put it in the console and bam there's this weird concert going on... I'm expecting something like FFX or XII or at leats Kingdom Hearts but its this weird girls singing and dacning and I'm like ok it'll get somewhere and then all of the sudden it's time to play and they do the whole character introductions like a mod squad or something...

I still don't get this game or why on earth or universe would I want to be or help any of those characters out.. Please help me understand this one because I hate that game I would've rathered gotten like a barbie or golf game than that... seriously is it like a joke? What's the story behind this version of FF?????

and why the Hell out of all the games did my cousin think I would want that one!! though I cant' say taht since he's old and was just trying to be nice.

PS sorry for the long and somewhat out of context comment.. (please don0t block me :)

You're talking about Final Fantasy 10-2, which is a semi continuation of Final Fantasy 10. I've played a bunch of FFX but not all, and it was a fairly reasonable one. I've seen the intro to FFX-2 and I have to agree with you, your comparison to Barbie is apt. It seemed like Charley's Angels meets some sort of Dress-Up power girl thing. Not my cup of tea, though it did have it's following amongst certain girl gamers.

The thing about this vid was that it was a bunch of Square Enix girls vs a bunch of Girls from the Dead or Alive series. What I dig about this the most is the stylistic similarities to my favorite Pen and Paper RPG, Exalted. The combat in Exalted is engineered to play out in the same over-the-top style. That's what I find most appealing.

Thankd GOd! I thought you were really into that version of the game I mentioned phew!
