little bit of 1 is ok. Only a little. then 2 and 4. Easter eggs can be ok if used very sparsely. More makes the text look "gimmiky".

It's a compliment. I've got my strengths, but I've seen you write long posts about topics I know that if I wrote them they'd be boring as hell, but I've enjoyed reading your take on them.
